The C3 Society meets throughout the academic year to learn about creative aspects of computing, for example game development, robotics, and internet programming. C3 supports students learning about computer software and technology that may help them with their chosen career path.
Students are supported by lecturers and encouraged to enter competitions such as Dare-To-Be-Digital and the Imagine Cup. For example, in 2007 a UUC computing team came 2nd in the Imagine Cup in Dublin.
